Upgrade Policy

WebAsyst(TM) provides their Product in two versions: 1) Services (hosted on WebAsyst web-servers) and 2) Software (to download and install on a customer's web-server). Both versions are subject to the following Upgrade Policy.

Background & Definitions:

• WebAsyst is continually improving and enhancing Product, based on customers feedback and market demand. New versions of the Product are released from time to time at WebAsyst’s discretion.
• Upgrade is any modification in Product: e.g. source code content, database structure, or interface appearance.
• Any Product modifications, e.g. adding new features, removing or redesigning existing features, or making interface changes are completely at WebAsyst’s discretion.

Upgrades:

• Services subscribers using Product on WebAsyst web-servers receive all upgrades FREE.
• Software buyers using Product on their own web-servers receive one year of free upgrades from the date of purchase. After one year, additional yearly upgrades may be purchased at 25% of the original purchase price (without discounts).
• WebAsyst publishes information about major upgrades in our blog and/or notifies registered customers by email.
• Services subscribers' accounts are upgraded by WebAsyst without interruption of service, including metadata (database structure) modification to customer databases.
• Software customers receive upgraded copies of source code via WebAsyst Installer or download in the WebAsyst Customer Center.

Limitations:

Software customers may have made custom modifications to their copies of the source code. In these cases WebAsyst expressly disclaims all warranties, and shall not be liable for any incompatibility problems of the source code previously obtained by such customers with upgraded version of source code.
