Overview

The purpose of this guide is to familiarize you with WebAsyst installation and administrating process, which is required if you have downloaded WebAsyst source codes and wish to install the software on your web server. 

WebAsyst software is a collection of PHP scripts, which can be installed on a web server with PHP support, e.g. IIS or Apache.

Once your have successfully installed WebAsyst on your web server, users can easily access it using standard web browser (IE, FireFox, Safari).

This guide includes four sections:

• Where to install? – describes system and platform requirements for WebAsyst installation.
• Installation procedure – takes you through installation process, including MySQL server connection setup.
• Administrating your system – describes features of WebAsyst Administrator, adding SMS Messaging to your system and interface language localisation.
• Securing installed components – tells you how to secure data in the installed folders.
• Upgrading WebAsyst – provides information on how to perform system upgrades.
