How to obtain a Zoho API Key

To enable the online editing feature via Zoho services in WebAsyst Files, an individual key is required, which you can obtain on the Zoho website and save in Files application settings as described below.

  1. Open website http://zapi.zoho.com and click on the Sign Up link.
  2. On the next page complete the registration form:


    Email Address: your email address.
    Password, Re-enter Password: type a 3 to 60 characters long password in both fields.
    Image Text: enter the text displayed in the picture below.
  3. Tick the “I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy” option and click on Sign Up Now.
  4. The next page will redirect you to the API Key generation form:


  5. Select the Non-Commercial type of usage, enter arbitrary company name in field Enter Your Company Name, tick option “I accept the terms and conditions” and click on Generate API Key.
  6. On the next page copy the Zoho API Key value, paste it in the settings section in WebAsyst Files and save the settings. After that you can begin using the Zoho online editing feature.

Important! An automatic notification will be sent to your email address, which will contain a confirmation link for your Zoho account. Click on the link and enter your password to confirm the registration. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of your Zoho account in several days.
