Social media buttons allow website visitors (e.g., online shoppers) to share information about your website with other users of social networks. To add such buttons to your storefront, follow the instructions below.
Copy the code of the desired social media button from the website of the appropriate website.
Tip: Some websites (e.g., AddThis) also offer code which allows adding a block containing several social media buttons to a website. Such aggregated button blocks may look as shown below:
Paste the copied code in the HTML-editing (advanced) mode in the Shop-Script's built-in design editor. Note that if you want social media buttons to be displayed on all storefront pages, paste the code under the "General layout" tab. Should you want them to be displayed only on product pages, paste the code under the "Product" tab.
Tip: If the social media buttons code contains curly brackets { and }, add it to the design editor window between special tags {literal} and {/literal} as shown below:
