Adding notes with optional attachments
You can post an unlimited number of notes and memos via the same Add Note form. For each note you can provide an unlimited number of attachments.

Organizing notes and memos
Entries in WebAsyst Notes are organized in folders which are sorted in hierarchical order. Each folder may contain as many notes and subfolders as you want. In the Folders panel you can collapse/expand folder (using [–] and [+] icons next to the folder name) to hide/show included subfolders.

Displaying notes in different formats
You have several options to display notes. Depending upon the kind of note you can set the most convenient format (separately for each folder):

Displaying notes in Grid format Grid — tabular format where note attributes appear in different columns, e.g. Subject, Content, Author etc… You can sort the list by any column simply by clicking its title.

Displaying notes in List format List — a convenient option to display note’s subject and full content at the same time. Sorting feature is also available in the List format.

Sharing folders with other users
You can customize personal or group permissions for every folder in order to share it with other users.

There are three levels of user/group access rights:

R (Read) — can list and read notes in this folder
W (Write) — can add/modify notes in this folder
F (Folder) — can add/modify notes, folders and access rights

You can see a list of all users and groups that share access to your folder as well as their access rights. This will give you more confidence when you are manipulating your data.

Manipulating with notes and folders (copy/move/delete)
You can copy or move the whole folder with all included subfolders and entries to new location. You can also copy/move multiple entries in batch mode to any accessible folder or delete the whole folder or just selected notes.

Searching notes
Search function allows you to search by any key phrase contained in notes' subjects or contents. Search Results list is fully operational — copy, move, delete, modify notes directly from the Search Results list.

Printing notes using Templates
You can print selected notes, current folder, or the entire WebAsyst Notes content using one of the predefined print templates included in the WebAsyst package.

Print templates allow you to personalize appearance of notes for printing or publishing on your web site.

You can create your own print templates (or modify those included into standard WebAsyst package) using simple built-in HTML editor.
