Who can gain from the reseller program?

Individual web developers and developing companies. If you are engaged in creation of tailored online stores based on WebAsyst Shop-Script, it is the best way to save by purchasing Shop-Script licenses at the lowest price available.
Web hosting companies. Those who would like to offer their customers web hosting services with pre-installed online store and web applications, but are not ready to provide technical support for the users of such applications.
Software retail stores. Imagine that the cost of a product in your store can be as little as 15% of the selling price!

How do I become a reseller?

Just register yourself. It is free to do so. Then purchase WebAsyst licenses online on our website, resell them in any fashion you choose to your customers, and register the sold licenses in your reseller account.

No paper work involved! You are only required to accept the terms and conditions of a public offer on our website to become a reseller.

Who will provide technical support to end users?

We will. This is a great advantage of our reseller program: you need only to resell WebAsyst licenses to end users; our job is to provide high-quality technical support.

Note: If you offer additional services to your customers with WebAsyst licenses and such services result in any alteration of the WebAsyst software products (e.g., modification of the source code, development of custom design), technical support must be provided by you. We guarantee support to Users of the base versions of WebAsyst scripts only.

Are the discounts cumulative or are they only valid for a one-time purchase of several licenses?

Discounts are accumulated. You may purchase just a single license today, but when you buy more licenses of the same application(s) later, you will receive discount for them.

Which WebAsyst applications are covered by the reseller program?

All of them. Choose which WebAsyst applications you would like to resell: either a single one (e.g., only Shop-Script), or any combinations of them, or even the entire suite. The price of each license will be calculated as the sum of all individual applications' prices with your discount for each application automatically taken into account.

May I buy 1000 licenses with a 85% discount?

That is not possible. If you would like to purchase 1000 licenses at one time, their cost will be calculated as follows: one (first) license without discounts + 9 licenses (from 2nd through 10th) with the 50% discount + 90 licenses (from 11th through 100th) with the 60% discount + 900 licenses with the 75% discount.

May I set any prices that I want? May I only resell scripts or may I offer them for rent?

Both are allowed. In addition to the ability to resell the scripts you may also offer them for rent and supplement them with individual services, which may vary from web hosting to development of custom web design and software modules. According to the terms and conditions of the partnership program, you must only purchase a new license for every installation of the WebAsyst scripts and register all sold licenses in your reseller account in the Customer Center.

Please note that the terms and conditions of the reseller program prohibit price dumping, which can be regarded as compromising the pricing policy of WebAsyst, LLC. According to the partnership agreement, a reseller may distribute WebAsyst software products in different ways, including but not limited to, offering for rent, reselling as a part of own complex services, etc. It is important to remember that we do not set fixed price limits for WebAsyst applications. Resellers create their own pricing policy. We believe that the market will do the job. Our position is to establish clear rules for healthy competition among resellers, and to prevent unfair behavior of those partners whose actions could result in legitimate claims by end users of WebAsyst products.

Terms and Conditions of the "Reseller" partnership program:

The subject of this agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") is to grant the right to distribute WebAsyst software products (hereinafter referred to as the "Products") developed by WebAsyst, LLC (hereinafter referred to as the "Author") to a partner, either an individual or a company, (hereinafter referred to as the "Partner") under the terms and conditions set out below:

1. The Author grants to the Partner the right to distribute licenses of the Products to end users (hereinafter referred to as the "Users").
2. The distribution of licenses of the Products is understood as the fact of its transfer to a User free of charge or for payment by any of the methods provided below: 
 2.1. full transfer of a license to a User without any modification of the Products included in the license for further installation by the User and use on the User's own servers or web-hosting sites;
 2.2. transfer of modified Products, alone or together with any third-party products, including the Partner's own products;
 2.3. grant of the right to use the Products for rent (if the Products are hosted on a web-hosting site provided by the Partner).
3. The Author sets the following prices for the Products at which they available to the Partner:
 3.1. 1st copy of each Product — the current price published in the "Pricing" section of the Author's website at www.webasyst.net;
 3.2. 2nd through 10th copy — 50% of the base price (without current discounts);
 3.3. 11th through 100th copy — 40% of the base price;
 3.4. 101st through 1000th copy — 25% of the base price;
 3.5. 1001st and any greater number of copies — 15% of the base price.
4. Each license may include one or more Products. The price of each license is understood as the sum of prices of all individual Products included in the license. 
5. Before reselling a license of the Products to a User, the Partner must acquaint User with the text of the "Software Agreement" published on the Author's website at http://www.webasyst.net/terms-of-service-software.html and have him/her agree to its terms. Non-acceptance of the terms voids all responsibilities of Author.
The Partner is not allowed to resell licenses of the Products to Users who have not accepted the terms and conditions of the "Software Agreement".
6. The registration of a license sold to a User shall be carried out by the Partner in his/her reseller account (from the Customer Center) on the Author's website. The Partner must specify the following information about the User in the license registration form:
 - the domain name where the Products will be installed,
 - full name,
 - company name (if available),
 - email address,
 - telephone number,
 - postal address including country, state/region/province, ZIP, city/town, and street address.
7. After the registration of a sold license a new Customer Center account will be created for the User on the Author's website, in which the User will be able to download the source code of the Products as well as any updates thereof. 
8. The Author shall provide free technical support to the Partner and all Users for issues involving installation and functioning of the Products in accordance with the "Software Agreement".
9. The Author reserves the right to directly transmit marketing offers to Users.
10. The Author shall not be held responsible for any damages of the Partner which may result from actions taken by Users in relation to the Partner, including but not limited to refusal to use the Products, requests to refund paid amounts, fraud, etc.
11. The Author shall not be held responsible to the Partner or User(s) for any damage or damages which may result from the use or inability to use the Products, whether they occurred through the fault of the Partner or the Author.
12. The Partner may set any prices for the Products at his/her own discretion as well as provide additional paid services to his/her customers, including but not limited to the installation of the Products, source code modification, and consultancy.
13. The rights of the Partner to distribute the Products are not exclusive for any territory unless otherwise is agreed in writing.
14. The Partner agrees not to advertise the Products using methods that may be classified as spam, or in any manner compromising the Author's reputation. The Partner is not allowed to advertise or sell the Products to Users by price dumping, which would be regarded as compromising the Author's pricing policy.
15. The Partner agrees that any claims to the Partner made by Users which are directly or indirectly related to the subject of this Agreement may result in termination of this Agreement.
16. A violation by the Partner of any clause of this Agreement may result in termination of partnership relations between the Partner and the Author.
17. The terms and conditions of this Agreement refer to all commercially distributed versions and modifications of the WebAsyst software products.
